Identify how the word in the brackets is formed from the two words on either side. Apply the same rule to the second group to find the missing word.
Example:
( man [ mat ] tip )
( bug [ ? ] dew )
Logic:
1. Take the first two letters of the first word (man).
2. Take the first letter of the second word (tip).
3. Combine them: ma + t = mat.
Apply to second group: bug + dew = bud.
